I have worked in the education field for over 10 years as an

aide, private tutor, after school teacher, and teacher's aide. My

duties have included helping with homework, teaching/implementing

elementary school subjects, and creating fun, supplemental

activities/lessons. Some examples include teaching music using wooden

sticks and creating a science activity using cornstarch and water to

make slime. I have also utilized educational board games to help

reinforce basic reading, writing. I have utilized math bingo

games and created a jeopardy style game with older kids. My teaching

philosophy involves instilling and motivating positive self esteem in

my students.

Within the last 6 years, I have worked mainly as a private tutor

helping students with homework and reinforcing supplemental materials

with what they are learning in the classroom. I strive to provide my students the
