Hello there! My name is Amanda, and I am currently a fourth year in a five year program at a university here in Boston. I am a political science and international affairs double major. But, that's all the boring stuff. I'm also addicted to raspberry iced tea with honey and trident mint gum, and I love to laugh.

I believe in quality over quantity. I would rather sit with a student for four hours to make sure that they understood one problem completely than get through 800 homework assignments that they only partially understand. In order to solve a problem, you must first understand nearly everything about it. Turtoring is something I have been doing for a while, both one on one and in group settings. I worked for Kumon Learning Center for two years; a program designed in a specific and strict way to both improve and excell students in Math and Reading. I am able to identify individual needs of a student through this experience, and am eager to help with individualized plans for each person. Whether its study guides for an upcoming history test, or breaking down the larger themes of a novel there is always a unique way to connect a person to their work.
